Stay Overnight in Wadi Rum

Activities

While at the camp you can choose to book one of our tours, relax around the camp or go for a walk on your own.

Take a look at our tours to see if the jeep, camel, or hiking tour fits you the best!

After dinner most guests stay in the large communal tent, go stargazing, sit around a fire, read, relax, watch tv or just enjoy the peace and quietness of the desert. Currently there is not a strong internet or mobile signal available in the camp so you will need to go without these things during your stay at the camp.

You can often see the local blanford's foxs as they come out at night. We have mattresses that can be taken outside and it is very nice to lay in the sand whilst looking up at the stars.

We have a small hill behind the camp that can be climbed up to watch both the sunset and sunrise. Our camp is located in the red sand and you are free to walk around. The white desert is also in a reachable distance by foot (700m away). There is also a spectacular view of Jebel Qattar from the camp.

We suggest you to don't try to walk to the camp from the village on your 1st day arriving in Wadi Rum as the area is large and there is a great chance of you losing your bearings. If you want a nice walk, we suggest that you walk from the camp to the village in the morning when you plan to leave Wadi Rum. For this walk you need to go thru the valley of the moon for 11km. You can ask the staff at the camp for more information about which direction to go before you set out.
