Breakfast
Breakfast is at 7am and the jeep back to the village which connects with the tourist bus to Petra leaves at 8.15am. Breakfast consists of fresh bread, hummus, yoghurt, jam, honey, eggs, cheese, tea and coffee.
Lunch
Lunch is not served at the camp usually, however can provide it if you book it in advance.
Dinner
Dinner is normally served around 7pm and is a traditional Bedouin meal. It consists of BBQ chicken, potatoes, vegetable dishes, salads and bread. This meal is called Zarb. It takes 1.5 hrs to cook under the sand and is a very tasty meal. We have two cooks who prepare the meals. You can watch the BBQ being taken out from under the sand and take some photos of the Bedouin food culture.
Snacks + Drinks
You can buy snacks and drinks from our small shop in the camp, including 1.5L water bottles. It is useful if you bring small change to purchase them as it is difficult to change large notes in the desert.
Tea and coffee is free of charge in the morning.
We do not serve alcohol at the camp.
